Charities

The number of Charities in the UK stretches well into 6 figures. This ‘Third Sector’ is a growing market, historically underserved by insurance companies. aQmen, in partnership with others through CaSE Insurance (the trading name of Charity and Social Enterprise Insurance Management LLP ), is filling that gap with specialist knowledge to make sure the increasing breadth of activities undertaken by charities are appropriately covered by insurance.

As a Trustee of a Charity you have broadly similar responsibilities to those for a Company Director. You may of course have the utmost faith in the Charity’s management and not fear anything untoward. However being able to fight the injustice of a spurious claim is a costly process – and the claimant may know this and expect an out-of-court settlement as a result. Insuring against the costs of fighting such a claim is an option for you – one aQmen can readily advise on.

CaSE Insurance

In March 2007, in partnership with the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF), Bates Wells & Braithwaite LLP (a law firm), and The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), aQmen set up Charity and Social Enterprise Insurance Management LLP (CaSE) aimed specifically at providing insurance for charities and social enterprises.

CaSE is therefore the aQmen’s marketing arm focussed on Charities and Social Enterprises. A very useful and informative web site is at www.caseinsurance.co.uk

CaSE – Charity & Social Enterprise Insurance Management LLP is an Authorised Representative of aQmen Limited
