Why us?

Through aQmen’s Commercial Solutions group we focus on providing mainly project-based assistance to expanding businesses. What this means is that we use the skills, experience and contacts of the Principals, to help build a business to the next stage of maturity and may include, but isn’t limited to, developing and implementing strategic business plans and introductions to additional funding.

Many businesses – from start-ups to maturing ‘second stage’ entities – need outside help and guidance. There are of course a plethora of ‘Consultancies’ around, but what we aim to do is bring real world experience to the fore – sometimes only a few minutes of insight can really be a great help – both strategically and tactically.

The Principals at aQmen have built and sold business, but also have the experience of being involved in businesses where success has eluded them – adverse market changes, technology failures – we feel that you learn as much if not more from ‘failure’ as you do from ‘success’ – we’re all allowed to make mistakes, but only once. So we like to help people avoid those pitfalls and minimise on the failures where possible. A little foresight goes a long way.

We have also developed a network of people and companies that can bring funding to an organisation, but we always aim to bring what some might call ‘smart money’ – cash plus relevant expertise – to a business where we can, the value of which can be exceptionally useful to an organisation – and leave your business to get on with doing what you do well.

Our commercial solutions work undertaken to date embraces a wide range of businesses from technology to property development to insurance, and from a different angle from start ups to early maturity entities through to significant international businesses entering the UK. The consistent element is the application of common sense and practical approach to running a business.
